Cybercrime webinar

Thursday 7 February 2019, 15:00 – 16:00 (GMT) Online/dial-in

With the evolving digital age providing more growth opportunities for companies across the globe, it also allows new ways for criminals to commit fraud. Cybercriminals are continuing to deploy more sophisticated attack methods, which increasingly focus on corporate businesses. It is essential that banks invest in cyber security to safeguard client data and finances and embrace a differentiated approach to cyber security rather than a one size fits all approach.

During this call, we will hear from our global e-channels expert, Martyn Lade. Martyn is a Channel Manager in our Global Digital Client Access team at Barclays, where he will discuss defense mechanisms against cybercrime including the Layered Security Model and an update on PSD2.

We also have the pleasure to welcome a guest speaker, Joe Giddens. Joe heads up the Content and Concepts team at CybSafe. He will explore some of the underlying psychology behind our use of passwords as well as recommend some effective tips that organisations can adopt to increase secure password behaviour amongst users.

Feel free to transfer this complimentary invitation to whoever may be interested. At the end of the call, you will have the opportunity to ask questions. A replay will also be available after the event.

We do hope you can join us.
